The requirements for a real estate brokers license in Massachusetts include being at least 18 years of age and possess an active Massachusetts Real Estate Salespersons license. The applicant’s principal residence must be in Massachusetts for at least one year prior to the issuance of the license. 

The applicant will need to submit proof of having been actively affiliated with a Massachusetts real estate broker for a minimum of 25 hours per week for one year.

The broker applicant is required to complete 30 classroom hours of instruction by offered by an approved Massachusetts real estate school. The candidate will receive from the school a completed Massachusetts Board of Education Certificate form after which they may take the brokers exam.

After passing the exam, the new broker will need to provide a surety bond in the amount of $5,000. 

Cost of the course is $325.00.  We accept cash, checks and major credit cards. 

The tuition includes the textbooks Modern Real Estate Practice 17th Edition and Massachusetts Law & Practice and handout materials.

 The Cost of the broker's exam is $122.00.

Honorably Discharged VETs pay only $70.00.

  The Massachusetts real estate broker's license is $127.00.

Payment must be made at the time of reservation by credit card, debit card or electronic check.  Payment for the examination will not be accepted at the test center.
