Real Estate Salespersons’ Course

The requirements for a real estate salesperson license in Massachusetts include being at least 18 years of age and completing 24 classroom hours from an approved Massachusetts real estate school.  The candidate will receive from the school a completed Massachusetts Board of Education Certification form.   After completing the educational requirements, the applicant needs to successfully pass the salespersons’ real estate examination.

Cost of the course is $225.00. We accept cash, checks or major credit cards.

The tuition includes the textbooks Modern Real Estate Practice 17th Edition and Massachusetts Law and Practice and handout materials.

A salesperson applicant must:

·      Pass the exam within two (2) years of the date of completing the required sales person education

·      Pay for the license on the day of examination upon passing.

·      Have a valid Social Security number

·      Receive a passing score of 70% on the exam

The exam is offered several times a year at locations in Boston, Worcester, Woburn, West Springfield and North Dartmouth.  The test is a computer based exam consisting of multiple choice questions for General Practice and State regulations.  Your score is immediately available upon completion of the exam.

The Cost of the salespersons’ exam is $107.00.

Honorably Discharged VETs pay only $70.00.

The Massachusetts real estate salespersons’ license is $93.00.

Payment must be made at the time of reservation by credit card, debit card or electronic check.  Payment for the examination will not be accepted at the test center.
